The Call
The call went forth
And I answered
Many years ago, it went forth
And I answered
Over the years and
in many ways,
I answered, repeatedly
So what I see now in me
Is an answered call,
A call Answered
And I will take this moment
To remember, to acknowledge
That I have answered and
I will revel
In the joy of that Knowing
For my life, my calling is not simply
That call that I answered
But the call that I have answered
Repeatedly
And to Know that in so doing
As He has loved me
So I have loved Him too.
