In the beginning, there was one. The singularity. And the singularity was all there was. All that is possible was there and it was one.
The Singularity became curious. What, if I wasn’t one? What, if I was many? The only way to know was to act. Thus the universe was born. Pure energy condensed into subatomic particles, particles into atoms. Atoms into stars – stars of mind shattering brightness and heat!
Stars which exploded releasing more complex atoms, which again condensed into stars
Over and over again, atoms condensed into stars, each time smaller and further apart,
For time and space had come into existence along with the many.
Across mind numbing gulfs of time it continued, the many moving out
Becoming less concentrated, yet still condensing
Stars and planets, comets and asteroids, dust and cosmic rays
The many always yearning for the one.
